San Pedro, CA., [November 20, 2018] – San Pedro Fish Market Grille, the South Bay’s destination for quality seafood in a fast-casual setting, developed by the families behind the San Pedro Fish Market, casts a net further inland into Harbor City, California.

Located at 1313 W. Sepulveda Boulevard in Harbor City, the family dining experience features fresh fish dishes including the WORLD FAMOUS SHRIMP TRAY, and a selection of beer and wine. It joins two San Pedro Fish Market Grille locations, Rolling Hills Estates and Wilmington as well as the original San Pedro Fish Market in the seafood dynasty business.

“We are excited about the newest Harbor City location. It’s so convenient for many of our families who dine with us regularly at our waterfront location” says Mike Ungaro, CEO of San Pedro Fish Market. “The fish market is known for celebrating food and family, this new location will make it easier for families and friends to make any meal a celebration while dining on some of the freshest seafood available.”

Upon entering, customers order from a menu featuring many of the renowned seafood selections that the Southern California business has become synonymous for, then grab a seat while their meal is freshly prepared. A crowd favorite is the World Famous Shrimp Tray, with shrimp, bell peppers, onions, tomatoes, and potatoes; grilled and tossed in their signature seasoning, then piled high and served family-style. It’s completed with fresh garlic bread and lemons. ($15.99, individual; $31.99, two people; $59.99, four people).

Other customer favorites include house-made ceviche with choice of fish, shrimp or a combination ($6.99, small; $10.99, medium; $15.99 large) and appetizers called “BITES” containing fresh house-made clam chowder ($4.99 for a cup; $8.99 for a bowl) and fried calamari ($8.99).

The grille’s fish selection includes Atlantic Salmon, Swordfish, Tilapia, Red Snapper, Barramundi, Yellowtail, Shrimp and Calamari as well as other seasonal selections.  Any of the choices can be prepared as plates, fish & chips, sandwiches, salads, bowls, quesadillas, tacos, or burritos. About San Pedro Fish Market Grille:

Founded by Mackey Ungaro, his son Henry, and his nephew Tommy Amalfitano, San Pedro Fish Market opened the doors to its first location in 1956, originally called Vista Seafood. In the late 60’s, Vista Seafood was relocated to the beautiful waterfront location which would later become the Ports of Call village; this waterfront location would be rebuilt in 1982 and renamed the San Pedro Fish Market and Restaurant, taking its title from the waterfront community in which it’s based.

San Pedro Fish Market has become one of the top ten Instagrammed restaurants in the country with its large plates of seafood. Much of it has been documented with their award-winning web series Kings of Fi$h, which showcases the San Pedro-based family entrepreneurs and their four-time Guinness Book of World Record restaurants. They have recently produced the annual Memorial Day annual “Shrimp Eating Contest” which competitive eater Joey Chestnut won in 2018.

Nearly three generations later, the families continue the tradition of serving fresh seafood to the waterfront community and beyond.
